Dear Self,
Your children are very creative and like to use their shirts for many things. In addition to providing protection against wind and cold, these multipurpose pieces of fabric are used as bibs, napkins, and Kleenex.
So, Self, stop buying your kids white shirts.
Sincerely,
The Practical Half(?) of Your Brain

At least with white, you can use bleach (or bleach alternative) to get everything OFF of the shirt!
Rofl...I think each of my children may own 1 white shirt...and it definitely wasn't me that purchased them! Thanks for the laugh this morning...I needed that!
I came on here to post what Leslie already said--the great thing about solid white is the ability to use BLEACH!
My husband rolled his eyes and told me I was crazy when I bought white towels for our 2nd bathroom (the guest/kids bathroom). I told him it was deliberate because I could use bleach :)
Seriously don't even know why they make white shirts in kids sizes!!
LOL -- white shirts and kids definitely do not go together!!
I say buy more white shirts. Plain white and lots of bleach. For most stains Shout and a toothbrush works well. If it's something with an acid base, tomatoes, BBQ sauce, etc, dishwashing liquid and a toothbrush. I'm getting good at stains. :)
Perhaps there is a market for pre-stained white shirts? That would make mess fashionable and you can concentrate more on your blogging (or drinking cups of iced tea and putting your feet up). :)
especially huge old tshirtd. the best. just throw it into wash
