Hilarious! I remember my own son in that same position...then when we weaned him off the 'nuks' we kept finding him showing up with them despite the fact that we had the only access to them. Then we found that when we moved the crib that he had them stashed all over the place! So when both kids were off them (and we learned our lesson with #1 so as not to repeat with #2 who didn't depend on them as much)I put them all in a tall plastic cup and tucked them away in the cupboard. Then one day when I was cleaning out this little use space and came across them all together I sat down and had a cry...I was sad to have to chuck them all because my "babies" weren't babies any more! But I did it and am proud to say that with kids who are 8 and 11 I have a 'nuk' free home! That is a priceless picture. Enjoy the day!Erin

Uh,yeah, we do this, too.... we didn't do it with Big Sis, who miraculously gave up the paci before she turned 1. G-man has always had 2-3 pacis in the crib with him... and now we're trying to give it up and he is super.attached. Maybe we can help each other get thru it, when it's time! (We've pushed it back and will try again later...) ;)

My son didn't use those. He used his thumb. Imagine trying to get "rid" of that.

Hey, you weened BigSis from them. You'll do it again. No worries. Just think about how many 30 year olds you see walking around with binkies. ZERO.

Oh my goodness, my parents did the same thing with my "pipeaux" (yes, I'm from South Louisiana!)
I have three thumb suckers...easier to find in the night not as easy to get rid of!

What a sweet little boy. Our granddaughter Lulu had alot of binkies and Hubby started telling her whenever he saw her with one that it was time to give them up. Finally, when we were there one time, she rounded them all up and without any prompting, brought them to Grandpa and told him she was done with them. It was sweet.

Oh, yes! Beau was a double fisted paci kiddo! He always sucked on one while holding 2 others and there were several floating around his crib (and big-boy bed),too!
