Finally, when we were there one time, she rounded them all up and without any prompting, brought them to Grandpa and told him she was done with them. It was sweet.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4774778021065181469.post-84636872970666416862009-09-09T23:22:34.961-05:002009-09-09T23:22:34.961-05:00Oh my goodness, my parents did the same thing with...Oh my goodness, my parents did the same thing with my "pipeaux" (yes, I'm from South Louisiana!)<br />I have three thumb suckers...easier to find in the night not as easy to get rid of!Stephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04616044006287170819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4774778021065181469.post-720963911228443292009-09-09T21:08:57.030-05:002009-09-09T21:08:57.030-05:00Hey, you weened BigSis from them. G-man has always had 2-3 pacis in the crib with him... and now we're trying to give it up and he is super.attached. Maybe we can help each other get thru it, when it's time! (We've pushed it back and will try again later...) ;)Elaine's Semi-Homemade Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06005139656931323890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4774778021065181469.post-79454580285260472002009-09-09T12:57:05.119-05:002009-09-09T12:57:05.119-05:00Hilarious! I remember my own son in that same position...then when we weaned him off the 'nuks' we kept finding him showing up with them despite the fact that we had the only access to them. Then we found that when we moved the crib that he had them stashed all over the place! So when both kids were off them (and we learned our lesson with #1 so as not to repeat with #2 who didn't depend on them as much)I put them all in a tall plastic cup and tucked them away in the cupboard. Then one day when I was cleaning out this little use space and came across them all together I sat down and had a cry...I was sad to have to chuck them all because my "babies" weren't babies any more! But I did it and am proud to say that with kids who are 8 and 11 I have a 'nuk' free home! That is a priceless picture. Enjoy the day!ErinTesoriTrovatihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12771359288546654791noreply@blogger.com
