Early tomorrow morning I'll be heading to the airport for a whirlwind trip to the Battle Creek/Kalamazoo area. I've never been to Michigan, and I'm excited! This is a trip sponsored by Kellogg's, connected to the blogging series I'm doing over at my giveaway blog.
I'm really looking forward to getting away by myself for a couple of days! I also can't wait to run in the area on Wednesday morning--assuming weather cooperates. I think it's fun to experience running in areas away from my normal corner of suburbia.

Hope you have a great time. We just got back from there a few weeks ago. We went out for my brother-in law's birhtday. He lives between Kalamazoo and Battle right on a beautiful lake called Gull Lake in Hickory Corners. The Kellogg's Biological School which is part of Michigan State was right next door. Beautiful area.
hope you enjoyed your time in MI! I love that area of MI... been to the Kellogg Biological Station (KBS) many times as part of my grad work at MSU!!
Oh, Beth -- I've just paid the price for getting behind on reading my favorite blogs. If I had known you were going to be in Kalamazoo, which is less than 2 hours from us, I would have driven up to meet you. Oh well. If it had been meant to be ... I hope you had a great time. :)
