A few weeks ago I posted on Twitter,
Decided it's time for me to determine if it's really as divine as they say.
By way of explanation, I posted this photo:
That's right, I continued my tradition of picking up on trends mere years after they become popular. I bought Nutella.
And you know what? The stuff is good. There's something both decadent and comforting about the hazelnut/chocolate flavor combination. Chickie loves it too. Sometimes we put it on toast, but my favorite way to use it is to dip fruit in it. Apple slices and Nutella are delicious.
At Costco yesterday I noticed something--two (larger) jars of Nutella, sold together. A twin pack of tempting tastiness. Now that's a dangerous thing to have discovered.
Have you tried Nutella? What do you think of it?
This is not a sponsored post. Although I'm not-so-secretly hoping that the Nutella folks will see it and offer me a free lifetime supply. That would rock.

Nutella is awesome. I don't buy it often but it is soooo tasty!!! I tried it on crackers one day just for kicks and it was pretty good on those as well. Something about a salty/sweet combination...yum!
good stuff! have you tried it on graham crackers?
I love it - and I have to NOT buy the double-pack at CostCo. It would be very dangerous for me.
My first experience with Nutella was at a holiday party hosted by Joe's boss. His wife spread Nutella inside Pillsbury crescent roll dough, then baked them. That was a VERY merry Christmas indeed.
You know I love it!
I just tried Nutella for the first time three days ago! I tried it spread on crackers and I didn't really like the combination. I can't even imagine it on toast. But, licked off the knife, it was delicious. And I think I would love it with fruit.
As a child, I had a potentially life threatening allergy to hazelnuts. Spent my adolecent and adult life avoiding them at all costs as a doctor had previously threatened that my next allergic reaction would result in hives that made my throat swell shut. Kinda scary.
But I outgrew lots and lots of other allergies- like milk, for example.
Just last month, when Christy went to Paris, I finally tried hazelnuts again. She brought back divine chocolate for me... and we did a monitored eating of the first hazelnut piece I chose. No reaction HALLELUJAH! I eventually ate the entire little box over the course of the next week or so and never had a single issue so I've declared myself free of that allergy.
Nutella is on my list of things to try! I know Zach would looooove it. One of our fave treats is the dark chocolate peanut butter from Super Target that comes from an awesome PB&J deli in NYC.
Oh Nutella, how I love thee. My favorite way to eat Nutella is with a spoon after a rough day. Recently, Ian has taken a liking to it as well and loves some Nutella on toast. I have pictures of what happens when you give a two year old Nutella...it isn't pretty but he sure loved the treat.
My kids are eating PB & Nutella sandwiches as I type. We are big fans of the double-pack from Costco in this house, although we mostly only use it for PB sandwiches (or for Mommy to eat off a spoon ;-)
I love to put some between 2 Nilla wafers...a little snackwich.
I can't buy it anymore b/c I was eating a spoonful every time I went in the kitchen! That's some dangerous goodness! During pregnancy, my daily snack was graham crackers with Nutella spread on thick and thinly sliced apples on top (fugi)! Ahhh...soooooo good!
Yum! We don't eat it very often, so it's taking us forever to go through those giant jars. One thing I do is turn them upside down in my pantry. The oil separates a big and that keeps it more mixed up. Otherwise it gets very dense in the bottom and not very smooth. I do the same thing with the big jars of almond butter from Costco as well.
I practically grew up on that stuff (it's German you know!!!) and totally agree it is yummy! As a Vegan, it is hard to walk bu and pass (!) it in the store!
ENJOY!
Haven't tried it, as we just heard of it (and learned that it's peanut-free). I plan to try it soon. For now we're enjoying the Blue Diamond almond butter.
nutella is the third or fourth yummiest thing in the world! :D its my little bottle of incentive; when i have to do something i don't feel like, i promise myself a spoonful after i finish. (yes, i am a three year old :p)
yes. My main guilty pleasure left from university (same as college) days.
