That may be in the MOMMY DICTIONARY, but if you'll look at the list of qualifications for mommy-ing in the MOMMY HANDBOOK, it clearly lists, "mind-reader"! :)

Oh! And I love the border!

I don't think it's entirely because she's a three-year old. She's also a girl. Therein lies the problem, my friend. Wait 'till she's a teenager and the hormones kick in. Been there, done that. Call me in 10-12 years and we'll chat.

You need to be more aware of planetary alignment when understanding Chickie's "needs". Jupiter is way too close to Saturn today for her to do that herself.

OH WONDERFUL~ I'm just getting to the two-year-old stage with my oldest child. I'm dreading the three-year-old way more. :)

Oh- and here's a tip- I've heard from many that your three-year-old will act the same way when she/he is a teenager (that temperament). So keep notes on this for when she's a teen. Whatever works now may work then.

Sooo true! In response to Dani's last comment-I have a friend who recently observed that people often say that their toddler/preschooler is acting like a teenager but in reality it is probably more accurate to observe that teenager have a tendency to behave like 3 year olds! I think he's right.

Sandra--I am working on my mind-reading abilities--I hope they will improve as my kids get older! ;)

Tia--Thank you!

Crazy Mo--Oh, please, I DO NOT want to think about the teenage years yet! :)

Call Me Cate--Okay, so as I work on my ESP skills (see Sandra's note above), I'll also work on my astrology. It's a plan. :)

Dani--Oh, don't worry, I'm sure your children will be ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. ;)

Gina--I have to agree that teenagers do tend to act like preschoolers!

I totally agree, but do feel the need to make one slight adjustment to the definition: A small human who throws a tantrum one MINUTE because he wants to do something herself, and throws a tantrum the next MINUTE because he wants her parents to do the same task for him.

ElleBee--I'd say that's a VERY good edit! :)
