I love when furbabies and human babies love each other... our little toy poodle has become really attached to our kids and I love watching my kids learn to love a pet!
It's funny that I'm getting comments about Frosty being big. I don't think he was that big, but I have always been very petite, so compared to me.... The ironic thing is, our "miniature Schnauzer" IS freakishly large.
Laurel--That affection was not the norm for Frosty. Soon after this pic was taken, we found out he had feline leukemia, and he was put to sleep. Poor kitty!
Crazy Mo--I really see the resemblance in the cheeks.
Tia--Thanks!
Call Me Cate--See above. :)
rainylakechick--You too. :)
Dani--Thank you! Oh, and regarding your post on TOMW today.... I think most of us moms feel like that sometimes, me included. I know I'm often not good at juggling it all.
Liz--Yes, I love seeing both of my kids having no fear of dogs. (Although they do need to learn a little healthy respect since not all dogs are as friendly as ours!)
The orange shag carpet reminds me of the green shag carpet that I grew up with along with the beads hanging from the doorway. Those were the good days...now I have tacky sky blue carpet.
I've been away from looking at other blogs for a while. Love the new look. And the pix! Hope you can pop on over to ours - somewhere there's a pic of our new puppy plus chihuahua! Vikki - www.survival-cooking.com
Amazing echoes of the past! Beautiful critters, and that is one large mini schnauzer! Have you seen Henry The Dog's blog, C. Beth, now that's a mini schnauzer, who blogs!

Frosty's actually giving you a hug. Her paw is wrapped over your leg. Too cute of a post :-).
Orange shag rug. Good times.
Chickie looks just like you!
Very sweet!
Frosty was a big kitty! Cute pictures.
Chickie does look a lot like you! And that is ONE BIG CAT! Was Frosty a Savannah cat? Or were you just a wee one in that photo?
Adorable...both of them.

Vikki--Welcome back! I am totally behind on my blog reading. I guess that'll happen occasionally! Thanks for coming back!
Both adorable, and I do see a strong resemblance. And, obviously, both pet lovers. :)
Yep...you're related! )

Lovely pics, thank you! x
You know, we always joke about Zoodle being a clone of the Engineer. But after seeing your young picture, I can see you in Zoodle's face!!!!
