Clark is in heaven.

I heard a few minutes ago that Clark passed away this morning.

I told Chickie that Clark isn't sick anymore, and that he's in heaven with Jesus.  I told her that Jesus is with us, but we can't see him--but Clark can see him now.

She doesn't understand.  Neither do we.  But we trust God, and we ask Him to comfort Clark's family and friends.

Thank you for your prayers and support for this boy and his family.

Oh Beth. I thought from the title that there had been a healing miracle. I am so saddened by this. I am happy for Clark that he gets to be with Jesus though...My prayers will be with his family members now.

Oh, goodness, Our Scoop, I hadn't even thought that "Clark isn't sick any more" would taken that way, but of course that makes sense. I changed the title. Thank you so much for the prayers.

I'm so sorry Beth. I'm glad he's finally out of pain and peace.

I meant, "in peace." :-)

The first time I heard the song, "If you could see me now" was at the funeral of a man who had died in a car accident that had broken practically every bone in his body. Knowing that, I loved the words of the song about walking with no pain on the streets of gold. So, I think of Clark like that now too. Whole and well and happy, walking the streets of gold, and seeing Jesus' face.

My prayers are with his family.

I wish Clark's family and friends the best as they recover from his loss. I don't know him - and I haven't even had the chance to read about him - but I feel horrible knowing that he is no longer part of our world. Deepest condolences and all the best.

Oh Beth, I'm so sorry to hear this. I just said a prayer for him. How very sad and tragic at such a young age. My thoughts and prayers are with you and his family.

How sad to have to mourn the loss of someone so young. What a beautiful and simple explanation you gave to your sweet little Chickie. During times like these it is easy for us to waver in our faith, so I am glad to hear that you are still trusting in God. Peace to you and to Clark's family during this difficult time.

Just as all children are different so is the death of every child different. Nevertheles, Clark's death reminds me of our own experience and how maybe, from a distance of 22 years, I can use my blog to offer some suggestions as to how to support parents and siblings at a time like this. I shall give it some thought. In the meantime, commiserations to his parents and to Tiffany.

I'm so sad to hear this news, yet comforted by the knowledge that Clark is with our Heavenly Father and no longer in pain. I'll be praying for his family.
