Monday Micro: Cake! (Not a baaaaad one)

The Engineer has been promising that Chickie could have a party when she figured out the whole pooping in the potty thing. Well, as I blogged yesterday, she figured it out! So yesterday it was time for a little party--just our family and one of Chickie's friends.

Remember that kitty cat cake Chickie had for her birthday? I never did figure out why she wanted a kitty cat cake. I also haven't figured out why she wanted a sheep cake for this party. But hey, I live to serve. Well, to bake and then to serve.

So here it is...her sheep cake.

Very cute! And Ellie did not poop in the potty until she was 4. At three and a half, we tried too hard, ended up giving an enema due to fear and total back-up. She said she would go when she was 4. We waited, and just like that, on her 4th birthday, it ceased to be a problem! Yea for Chickie!

Looks a little like Shawn the sheep - if you know who that is. If not, we have DVDs and I can show you. It's funny!!!

Congrats again!!!!

That's adorable! Is the purple face fondant or something else? I'm always looking for a cute cake with white icing (can't do food dyes with my daughter) - I love the sheep idea!

Super cute cake!! Although, I have to wonder if Chickie will be totally embarrassed by the meaning of the cake when she's older?

But very cute cake! Did you use some fondant?

That is an awesome idea!! Cute cake too! I agree with Melinda...you could do cakes for a little mommy's rainy-day money here and there if you wanted to!
