Book Review: Faithful Place.

Well, I suppose it was bound to happen. I read a book for BlogHer Book Club, and really didn't care for it.

That being said, it has really good reviews on Amazon, so it might be one you'd enjoy. Click here to read my review of Faithful Place, a dark mystery novel by Tana French.

And I'd be happy to send my copy to someone who thinks they'd enjoy it. Comment here with your email address so I can contact you. (I'm putting this same offer on my other blog, and I'll edit the post once I've promised the book to someone.) The book has been promised to someone!

Disclosure: I was provided with a free copy of the book and received a small stipend for honestly reviewing it.

Hi Beth, I've been reading your blog for a couple of years now and enjoy all of your posts :)

Thank you for your honest review! I would love to read the book! I really enjoy mysteries and like reading books by authors I haven't yet discovered.

My e-mail is ajigreer@gmail.com

The books we like are such a subjective thing! I rarely love a book that someone has reviewed with a glowing review or even with a personal recommendation from a friend. And not too many people like the books I recommend either! It's even sometimes true between my daughter and me. In many ways she and I are so much alike, but not in what we like to read!

Darn, I hit return too soon!

Everything OK in your part of CP?? Steiner seems contained and there isn't anything else around here. Very grateful!

Of course, if we don't get rain before long, we will all just crumble to dust and blow away!

Take care!

Hi Beth!
You've made me want to take a close look at the Kindle Fire...I've always said I love books too much to ever read them on a computer screen, but I've been feeling a little guilty lately about all the money I spend (books are expensive!) and the destruction of all those trees!
And love your crocheted hats...do you know if there is a pattern for a knitted one that looks like yours? Purse is gorgeous too, btw!
