Chickie's little brain is smart...smart enough to act ignorant when it benefits her. I think that's too smart for a three-year-old. Take this conversation for example:
Chickie: I'm done with breakfast!
Me: I want you to eat five more bites.
Chickie: (eating) One...two...Mommy, what comes after two?
Me: You know what comes after two!
Chickie: Five?

I think you cut and pasted a mistake at the end of your post. You aren't really on vacation starting today are you? It says you'll be back Wednesday the 12th...
That's awesome. I've mentioned before how I'm thrilled and yet terrified of all these little snippets of my life in a couple years, haven't I?
Ohhh, you've got a smart one on your hands! When they're smart enough to play dumb, the parents need to be scared...
She's only three... How can you expect her to know what comes after two? ;)
Hope springs eternal, especially among the toddler/preschool set!
Sounds like you have your hands full with her.
I am seriously laughing out loud :o) J's most recent excuse is "I'm full because I have a baby (as she holds her belly)." Hmm... wonder if me being 8 months pregnant has anything to do with this excuse?!?
Oh she'll go far that one. :-)
