Blog headers and favicons

I really enjoy making my blog headers and favicons (the itty-bitty icons to the left of the address bar in your browser.) (You can check out the ones on my other blog here.) I also made my dad's header and favicon.

So...any other bloggers want a header and/or favicon? If so, e-mail me at cbethblog(at)gmail(dot)com. No charge--but it's first come, first served and based on how much time and interest I have!

Prefer to do your own graphics but aren't sure where to start? I use Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, which is software on my computer. If you don't want to buy software, a website you can check out is Scrapblog.

Oh, I think I need both :) I actually LIKE the style of my header, but I'm totally inept at editing it and it didn't upload right ... you see the edges. Sigh.

And a favicon - sign me up, LOL!

Beth...That's so sweet of you! If you can do something with mine and fix it so it looks better, I'd love it! I think it kinda looks childish...sorta? It's my photo, but I'd guess I was trying to do everything so fast, and should have taken my time with my limited resources. Can you use my same photo and fix it? I am not sure if I would need the other thingy and I am not sure I'd even know how to put it where it goes if I got one! Blessings, Lisa

Ooh, I would dearly love a favicon! I attempted to make one once (quite a while ago) and couldn't decide on an image. Since then, I've been tossing around the idea of changing my blog title, since there is a San Francisco Bay area newspaper that started using "aPARENTly Speaking" for their parenting blog.

Email me privately if you would like to discuss my idea for the new blog title.

I totally love your headers. I'm a big fan of Scrapblog for headers and have a great time making them. I'm curious about the favicons, though. I always think the ones I see are really cute. Are they easy?

Ditto on Scrapblog. That's who I use for my blog as well as my Christmas cards this year. Super easy to use and free!

Beth- HELP!!!
I made my own header, but it doesn't link back to my blog. How do I make that happen?

Thanks.

Faith--I don't know what the problem is with yours--I visited it, and you're right, no link back to your home page. Did you just upload it as an image in the Layout portion of Blogger? When I uploaded mine there, it automatically linked back. If you're putting it in there manually using HTML...You might need to put it in like this: {a href="YourBlogURL.com"}{img src="www.URLwhereImageIsStored.com"}{/a} but instead of all the {} symbols you'd use the lesser than/greater than signs. I don't know if that helps AT ALL since I just upload mine through Blogger's tools; I just know that's how I get images to link back to a particular website. I hope that makes sense!!

BTW, Faith--For an example of that code go here.

Oooh, I'd love a header, if you ever have time. I desperately need one and it's something I can never seem to get around to doing. BTW, I love your new Christmas masthead!
