A card from our family to yours

I designed our Christmas cards and did a "blogified" version with our nicknames so I could share it here. Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays!

Inspired by Lyndsay's post showing her adorable cards of years past, here is ours from two years ago (complete with big, snazzy censorship bars over names.) I didn't do a card last year. I was pregnant, and as all women who have been pregnant know, that's pretty much a valid excuse for anything.

I'm still accepting participants for the next Art Pen Pal project! Make sure you e-mail me at cbethblog(at)gmail(dot)com with your address if you'd like to participate. Do it now, before you forget!

So adorable!!!! Your kids really are the cutest...not as cute as mine, of course, but they are up there! (I'm not allowed to post photos of my son as my husband is totally paranoid about Internet stalkers and such. I just can't imagine someone finding my little blog with all the stuff out there on the Internet but that was one of his conditions for me doing my blog...that plus I can't stay up past 11:00 pm to work on it because I'll be grumpy the next day).

LOVE the cards! Thanks for sharing. You've inspired me to do the same, and here I was wondering what to blog.

Love the card AND the outtakes. Especially the one where Chickie has Zoodle in a headlock. A big sister can sometimes just love you to death! :)

Too cute! I love that Chickie smiles with her WHOLE mouth! My mom would call that a "cheerleader smile", referring to my 8th grade cheerleading days where we smiled just like that! :)

Mike--Thanks! :) You enjoy the season too. Hope it's a great one for you and your family.

Jenners--Yes, we always struggle with how much to put on here. I used to use our real names but changed that (even changed all the prior posts) and when my blog became more widely-read I was very glad my husband had asked me to make changes! Ha ha on the staying up late--I relate to that.

Hon--Sure, just for you (and you and you and you!) :) I love them too; they are the best!

DiPaola--Oh, yeah, the outtakes are definitely more entertaining than the "good" pic! :)

Chris--Thank you!

Mom--I'm glad; you'll be getting one! :-D

Faith--Definitely looking forward to seeing yours!

Sandra--Thank you! My favorite outtake is the headlock one too.

ElleBee--Oh, yeah, when we say "smile" these days, that's what she does! It's a little crazy-looking!

Kerri--Why, thank you! :)

Beth, it's so fun to see your blog (I linked to you from Bobbi)! It sounds like things are going really well--and your children are adorable. Do you mind if I link to you from my blog (makes it easier for me to notice updates)? My blog is private but if you'd like to see it you're more than welcome--just email me at janell1014@yahoo.com and I'll send you an invite. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

Very cute! I love the outtakes. We had our first Christmas card photo shoot yesterday, but got nothing but outtakes. I guess we'll be trying again today. :-)
