Six Word Saturday!

Time for Six Word Saturday again! Click on the button to find out more about 6WS.

Yesterday I opened a letter from my car insurance company. It included a page with this information:

Photobucket

It says, "Any increase or reduction in premium has been, or will be included as an adjustment to your billing statement. The billing statement may be enclosed or it may be mailed to you separately."

Never before has so little information been conveyed in so many words. So my six words this week are...

You killed a tree for that?!

Ugh. Sometimes paper just makes me angry for exactly those reasons. And then to know that so many don't recycle it. Or our church is horrible about sending all kinds of crap on paper that can't be recycled.

Thanks for participating. Your six words were much more meaningful than their 4836.

I know jus what you mean. We have a credit card that has a zero balance yet they still send us a montly bill! We have called and tried to get them to send the bill electronically and yet still continue to send the statement via snail mail every month.

Stuff like this drives me to distraction!! Toss that in the recycle pile!!

Happy SWS!

We keep getting a statement from a phone company that says zero previous balance, zero current balance, payment sent zero, payment due zero.

We've had Zero accounts with them.
Why do we even get a statement from them?

that does seem like a waste of paper (and a tree) and imagine the cost to prepare it to send; they could have done away with it and with the money they saved perhaps reduce your premiums a bit more

just came by to check out all the 6-word Saturday entries; enjoy your day

Cate--As always, enjoyed doing 6WS!

Caryn--Nice. So many companies are begging you to go paperless; you'd think all of them would want to!

Lindy--Happy 6WS to you too!

Melissa--Non-eco-friendly, and just plain stupid. :)

Vicki--Nice. I guess they just like you. :)

a corgi--Hope you had a great day too!

That's a good point! I'm always amazed at the amount of junk mail that come through our door (lands in our mail box actually)....I hate to think how many branches, if not trees, we're dumping in the recycling box.

I liked your post! This is my first time playing, and after a brief hiatus, I've been inspired by your button!

You may find it's information (or disinformation) they are required to send you by law. A lot of the rubbish I receive from financial companies has that in the small print - as if it were ever going to mean anything to me!
