dont like it at all
I love it!! Very summer-y!!
The colors are so happy and lovely! Terrific:)
I like it. Big fan of greens. Nice work!
@ Barga: You're such a rude liar! That aside, it's great, Beth! Very summery and happy. The font you're using now makes me feel smiley :)
I like the new colors, but I liked having all 3 of your columns visible at once.
I LOVE IT!!
I love the flowers, makes it feel very uplifting! The new font in the header is very eye catching!Awesome work!
i know that i am rude and a complete jerk; however...1) she never commented on my change (1 strike against Beth)2) i am a college dude, there are flowers here (1 strike against beth)3) more than one flower (1 for every flower)4) the layout is too girly (see above)etcetcetcby my logic, she is -12308912398123 for the site
College dudes aside, it looks lovely Beth.
What a pretty, happy, creative header -- just like its author! :) Love it!
Thank you all for the kind comments! And, Barga, thank you (?) for the honesty. Did you get my response via Twitter last night? I'm not at all surprised that you don't like it, as you don't much strike me as the type who would like pastels and flowers. Oh, well, can't please everyone.... :)
I love it! The new font definitely makes me happy - I like the wide Sans Serif fonts. I make all of my school handouts in Century Gothic. Is this Lucida?(I think I just realized I'm a font geek.)
@ Barga again: you could at least say something encouraging, like, "I don't like it personally, but I'm sure the majority of your blogging demographic would like it" (or something little less wordy :S) I personally wouldn't use something like Beth is using too, but jeez...show some respect - she obviously puts a lot of work into redesigning her blog every time. It's OK to be honest, but I think we all need to be respectful and be a little less blatant.
I think it's very cute and cheery! It reflects your personality, and isn't that what a blog is supposed to do?
Mike--As always, you are so sweet. Thank you. :)I know to expect honesty (brutal or otherwise) from Barga--but he's also made a point to be protective of my family (like when someone made a rude blog comment about Chickie, and when I accidentally posted Zoodle's real name.) So I am willing to give him a lot of leeway in how he expresses his opinions.(Barga--imagine this comment being sent with a huge, tacky bouquet of daisies, just for you!) ;)
Looks so cute!
I didnt get the twitter thingokay, so constructive?I believe that it is just too darn peppy.Seriously though, I like the pastel for the blog, dont like the background, and really liked the old header.I do like that the ads are not intensive thoughbut the colors of the flowers areI WILL KILL YOU BETHflowers set my allergies on stun, and that makes me cryI am protective both because i like you, and some of the stuff I have seen at work... well... are not too plesant... so i am cautious
Barga--Fine, I'll keep the bouquet of flowers. They'll look lovely on my kitchen table.
loli actually like them in real life. Have some sitting in my apartment theater
Barga--Oh, whew, I'll let you keep them!I actually did get a good response from the drawn/stitched pictures of the family that I used in my last header. I'm mulling over re-using them in some way or maybe recreating them.... We'll see.
