So cute! I remember those when I was little! I can't wait until Mara has enough hair for pigtails!!
ohhh soo sweet! love them!
Oh Beth, too cute! I've got to get some of those for Kate's hair.
So cute! I'm so jealous- Sylvie refuses hair paraphernalia.
So adorable! It does remind me when I was younger (not by much) LOL. My mom used to do pigtails on me and put these kind on. I used to love it. It is a great memory.
She is so cute! I used to wear those when I was little too! Good memories!Hey thanks for adding my link to your blog! (hugs)
When I was growing up, and where I grew up in Ireland, these were called 'Go-Gos'. I noticed nobody else had a name for them. What are they called here in the U.S.?
Wish I'd known you wanted some of the ponytail holders. I have a package that I'd bought to use on something - I forgot what - but think I only used one of them! I'd would have given them to you when you were here... Love the black/white photo w/just the ponytail holders in color! - Mom
Sooo precious. This is the very reason pigtails are up at the top of my "Things I Love" list. Very nice stylization as well.
Love the piggies, love the LASHES! and LOVE the picture being black and white but not the pony tail holders. How on earth do you do that?????
Katie--It was definitely exciting when Chickie's hair got long enough!Anna--Thank you!Lyndsay--Totally, get some! Kate will look adorable.Special K--Oh, bummer about Sylvie--but I guess you'll be saving money that way. :PAVR--A agree, there is something so sweet about the memory of pigtails!Bloggymommy--You're welcome! I'm going to go through that list (which is full of blogs recommended to me by readers) and check them all out.d--I wasn't sure what to call them. My mom below calls them ponytail holders, which definitely works but applies to other types too. The package calls them "twinbeads" which I've never heard before. "Go-Gos" sounds good to me!Mom--Oh, bummer! You can give them to me next time you see me; we will probably have lost and/or broken all of these by then. :)Heather--Aww, yes, pigtails are so fun!Our Scoop--Well, I took it in color then used my photo editing program. I outlined (selected) the ponytail holders then inverted the selection so everything BUT the ponytail holders was selected. Then I turned all that black and white--and the ponytail holders stayed pink since they weren't selected. That's probably FAR more info than you were looking for. :) She does have great lashes, doesn't she?
Very cute! I'm looking forward to when I can put Avery's hair in pigtails. I have SOOO many pics of me in these when I was little!
So cute. And it brings back memories for me, too. I'm old enough where I also remember the big fluffy strands of "yarn" we all put in our hair.
I LOVE these as well. Plus, they don't pull when you take them out.
I have fond memories of these two. I used them on DD all the time. And now I keep them on hand to use on her daughters.Love the stylized picture. Very "artsy." :)
