You will see the positive effects of your stubborn refusal to give in to her screams ... you might not see them for another 5 years, but eventually you'll start hearing from teachers how it's so nice to have a student whose parents gave her boundaries!
I agree. I have a 4 year old that throws fits like a teenager. Including running up the stairs and slamming her bedroom door, all while telling me how mean I am and how mad she is at me. It's fabulous.
