Declare your independence from long blog posts! (Six Word Saturday)

It's time for the July 4 edition of Six Word Saturday! For the history of Six Word Saturdays, and to participate, click the nifty little button below. (As always, thank you, Call Me Cate!)

My six words this week are a dilemma:

Comfortable house or sweltering park celebration?

We'll see what we end up choosing.

I've decided to go along with a trip out to see the fireworks somewhere tonight despite heat, crowds, and traffic. But mostly because I talked him out of a whole weekend of heat, crowds and traffic (he wanted to go to DC).

Hope whatever you decide you and the family enjoy it. And thanks for playing!

I thought that said lost blog posts at first, since blogger also failed to post my scheduled post Thursday and I just found out about it. Now for your six words, that is a hard choice. Watching them on tv in the comfort of your home just isn't the same, but if it's as hot where you are as it's getting where I am (90-100) staying home may be the better option. Whichever you choose, have fun!

Yes that is a huge choice...if you are with family either place is good! Have a good 4th whatever you decide! Stopping in from SWS!

Totally taking the house route myself. Never been too fond of crowds!

That is it, i am reporting you, along with all of your readers, to the proper British Authorities

i would vote for the house.

but i freak out with crowds like that, so perhaps i'm not a good judge?

andy:)

have fun either way!

Well...I always vote for comfort personally. Have fun even if you don't take my advice! :)

If you go to the park you will appreciate your house more when you get home :)

It would be comfortable house for me. In my experience, sweltering park celebrations end up being less than celebratory in the end. It's hard to be joyful when you're all sticky and your icecream only lasted three seconds before dripping down your arm.

The fireworks or the comfort of your home depend on whether you are taking the kids or not. If not then stay home, but if they are part of the plan by all means go see the fireworks. They were made for kids.

Our decision was made for us during the day - it rained and rained and rained some more! It did stop in time for the fireworks though, so we did get to go out and see them.
Thanks for stopping by =)
