Monday Micro: Growing vocabulary

Our Schnauzer, Hammer, has the typical Schnauzer tail--cropped short and stubby. Zoodle is proud of his anatomy vocabulary and showed off to us a bit yesterday.

Pointing at Hammer's tail, Zoodle happily proclaimed, "A penis!!"

I guess we have a bit more teaching to do....

These are the kind of comments I remember my kids inevitably making in front of other people! I've always said God gave us children to keep us humble. :)

The positive is that he knows how to say words. He just needs to brush up on his anatomy knowledge.

Ha! That's pretty good.At least he knew to put two and two together. I have 2 year old and 11 month old boys. My current favorite is when my 2 year old talks to my 11 month old like I do. I hear him saying things like "No sir! No bite!" Cracks me up.

That's funny!! On the flip side, a friend's daughter (who was one of four sisters) saw her preschool friend (a boy) using the potty and she shouted, "Todd has a TAIL!"
