My six words for this week...

Sometimes parenting is really, really disgusting.

Zoodle is doing well, but Chickie got the bug yesterday. (Thankfully she's not as sick as Zoodle was.) If a genie comes out of a bottle in my house, I'm asking that neither of my kids ever gets a stomach/intestinal virus again.

(Edit, Saturday a.m.--Chickie is doing much better this morning!)

    i have never understood how kids get so sick. I mean, i never got sick as a child (and trust me, i think my mother expieremented to try and get me sick) so i just don't udnerstand.

    Also, this (along with many other reasons) is why i dont want a kid for about 9 years

    Thank goodness it's nearly over. Luckily, in almost four years, the only time Monsoon has... er... "gagged" was when he cried too much or ate mashed potatoes. *knock on wood*

    I think that would be an excellent use of a wish (even if you only got one wish).

    So True, I have done so many things as a parent I never would have imagined I would do. Glad the kids are feeling better.

    to Kris - My kids are all in their 30s - I miss them and the special times with them, but the "disgusting moments" - never! I'm glad I was there for them, but I'll never miss those! :) - Beth's mom

    Lindy--Yeah, I guess we are in it for the good, the bad, and the ugly!

    Barga--I don't know why some kids just get sick easier than others. Mine are definitely the type to get lots of little bugs. Very annoying.

    Caryn--True, it's hard to know exactly what to expect when we get into this parenting thing, isn't it?
