My new fave. Wash and slice in ...Brussel Sprouts. My new fave. Wash and slice in half. Put in a bowl. Add salt, pepper, garlic, and olive oil. Toss. Put on a baking pan. Bake until done. Usually 30 minutes or so at 350. I broil mine a bit at the end to get the tops crispy. You can also add pancetta if you want. Oh my. Good stuff. We have been part of a food co-op before but we had to commit to every week for 4 months or so. There were times I loved it - and times it almost felt like a burden to get so many fresh veggies, some of which I had no idea what to do with. But because of Joe's job situation, we've tried to limit our local commitments in case we move. And so no veggie co-op for us.<br /><br />All of which is a super-long way of saying I LOVE the idea of choosing when we'll participate.
